SkillBridge Program

Unrivaled Expertise

Since May of 2023, IMTAS has been participating in the DoD SkillBridge program. Internship opportunities are available in various departments throughout the company.
The SkillBridge program grants service members the opportunity “to gain valuable civilian work experience through specific industry training” by matching civilian opportunities to a service member’s job training and work experience.

Timely Delivery

Throughout their SkillBridge participation and training, service members continue to receive military compensation and benefits from the Department of Defense, with release for the SkillBridge program contingent upon unit commander authorization and mission-dependency.
Employers and industry partners participating in the SkillBridge program in turn “craft SkillBridge programs to meet their specific workforce needs, matching those needs to the skills and abilities of highly motivated service members, all at no cost.”

High School Senior Career Experience Program

A career experience and service learning opportunity for seniors to explore an area of interest and apply their skills outside of school. They identify a career interest, business, or service learning opportunity that they would like to learn more about, support, and arrange to dedicate 60 hours to this experience.

IMTAS has partnered with Westfield High School to help their seniors gain the experience they need to apply their knowledge in the work force.
